I always imagine a cartoonish scene where the guy accelerates past 4500rpm and goes "Oh crap. I should not have done that", the engine fires up to 9000rpm, the tires spin, the car jumps and flips forward on its roof.

I had my white '94 Integra until I sold it at 267K miles...luckily it wasn't VTEC or I may have rolled it into a ditch too.
